Actually it is. It's stained dark exactly because of that. Which is why babies have perfectly pink anuses and why some cultures are darker than others.

No thats wrong.Some people skin around the anus area and other regions is darker due to hyperpigmentation.Darkening of an area of skin caused by increased melanin.
