I'll start off by saying that I don't know Kelly that well. We spent one afternoon together when we did a photoshoot. That was it. I will say it was a pleasant experience. She's professional, pleasant and a good conversationalist. The reason for this caveat is that I want you all to understand that my opinion on this is objective and not coming from one of her close friends.

She may have come off harsh, but in general I don't disagree with anything she wrote in the initial post, or the specific reply referred to here.

I'm been around transsexuals for 25 years and have been photographing them for 11. So I've heard a lot of stories about how they are treated. I've seen the idiocy that goes on in chatrooms and forums. That goes both ways. I've even been allowed to listen in when some weirdos call them.

And yes, some of the messages and phone calls they receive are idiotic. I receive some doozies myself. I get messages from guys who I've never met asking me to hook them up with a tranny because they want to get fucked or suck a cock or whatever. Think about it. If I had the power to hook people up, why would I hook up girls that I know and are my friends with guys I've never met? It makes no sense. I'll get messages that just say something like "what's up?" I ignore such messages, because responding to them would be meaningless.

So consider a model or porn actress' situation. She's at AVN. She's probably got things to do. And guys ask her to take a photo with them. She does and goes about her business. What is wrong with that? Imagine how many guys might approach her as she is going about her business. If she spent even 5 minutes with each one, she wouldn't get very far.

If you ask a model or actress for a photo or autograph and she gives it to you, be appreciative of that. The girls that are actually hired to do work a booth at AVN are not going to spend more than 30 seconds with any one fan. You wait in line; you get your autograph and or photo taken with her; then it's the next fan's turn.

And what does it matter if a guy is attractive or not. If she's there for business and not looking to hook up, then he is the same as everyone else and deserves no special attention.
