So is he an Uncle Tom because he is a black republican? Or is it because he spoke against the Messiah?

I dont think calling someone an "Uncle Tom" is very helpful, especially if you yourself arent black.
If you arent you need to learn to stay in your place and comment on things that concern you.

Uncle Tom no.
Damm Fool yes.

Obama isn't a communist but if we nationalize the banks, healthcare, heavy manufacturing (auto, defense, etc), etc.... What's the difference?

Even [Lindsey] Graham is saying we should nationalize the banks.

Among the many differences with communism, the nationalization wouldn't be universal to all banks, nor would it be permanent.

I think its a mistake by Obama,He is making the mistake the country of Egypt did in 1953 to this day they have not recovered from their mistakes in the past.
The egyptian government thought the same thing but as soon as the gov owned all the money,it became a horrible place to live.

ef9, Obama is resisting nationalization even though even some republicans and Greenspan are advising it.

Well sure he MIGHT do it. It's in the air right now. But it's an improper characterization to be saying at this point, "it's a mistake by Obama." BTW, the fact that Obama is resisting demonstrates he's not the communist Keyes' deluded mind claims he is. Personally, I think it needs to be done. Suppose we nationalize just a few of the large failing investment banks. Then the bailout money is essentially going to us. We become the shareholders. When the the banks pull out of the slump, we have something to show for the money we spent. We can write it into law that the nationalization is temporary. This is probably the only time ever that I'll be in agreement with Lindsey Graham. For that reason alone it's an opportunity not to pass up :)
