The episode was about a man who was found with his genital so badly beaten that one of his testicals burst. The main suspect was his child, a 13 yrs old transsexual named Hailey.

The weird thing about this episode, that the whole time I thought the teen transsexual was being played by an actual girl, but she was actually played by a boy.

So, if you not all about the porn and are interested in what some transsexual go thru as teens, check it out.
It was a very good episode.

Here is the next time it comes on.

Sat. Feb. 21 - 9:00 PM NBC Transitions #10.14
Sun. Mar. 1 - 12:00 AM USA Transitions #10.14

Just watched it,dumb improbable plot(the reason l don't watch Law & Order) but a sympathetic portrayal of the dilemmas a young transsexuals may face.

An extreme case, but I agree with timxxx. Thanks for the heads up. I won't spoil too much, but the part where the suspect says "Imagine waking up tomorrow morning in the wrong body..."

I've been saying that for forever when the topic of transsexuality comes up (however rare).

A little on the "hollywood" side of story telling, but the intent is genuine. Excellent episode, that I feel EVERYONE should watch (not just the tchasers on this forum), a tiny step in educating the public on the hardships young transsexuals experience.

The boy playing Henry/Hailey, I must admit, is stunning in the role, and has great acting ability. I looked at the credits, but couldn't figure out the actors name--a shame, since he's that damn good being playing a tgirl as a passable ggirl.

Eh, it was ok. The kid's anger management issues were never dealt with. The father was an a-hole sure, but what did the mother do to deserve that black eye? Typical L&O stuff. BTW, what's the over/under on stills of the kid getting in the Club Kid thread?

I think it is well done. There is just not much out there about that covers how bad it is to wait, and this at least put the emotional content out there.

There was a good episode a while back called Falicy with Katherine Moennig (the L Word) playing a transsexual who killed someone who allegedly sexually assaulted her. It was a good episode and didn't have the "we saw it on tv and made an episode about it" vibe to it.

We need more of this on mainstream tv, instead of just on lifetime

I caught this episode online and, while it had its shortcomings, was quite a good representation of the issue overall.

Bridger Zadina is the next Hillary Swank.

"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" Fallacy (TV episode 2003) - IMDb@@AMEPARAM@@http://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV5BMjA3NDM2NjkyN15BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwOTQ3NTg1MQ@@._ V1._SX93_SY140_.jpg@@AMEPARAM@@BMjA3NDM2NjkyN15BMl 5BanBnXkFtZTcwOTQ3NTg1MQ@@@@AMEPARAM@@SX93@@AMEPAR AM@@SY140 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0629653/)

'Fallacy'- just watched this episode. A decent portrayal of how a t-girl is commonly treated, and how stupid people can be.
