I mean eventually all us dudes have to start getting them but I have never heard of a TS getting one. I also chuckled wondering if its nothing for them to have the exam, a simple latex against skin slap, 360 with the fist, and ya done!!!!

First there's what's called a PSA test. If the reading is near 4 you're on your way to having prostate cancer. That's when the invasive stuff starts. (not so bad) FAR worse than this is a cancerous condition of the bladder. Now we're talking REAL fun. :>(

Simple enlarged prostates can be easily treated with medications. However enlarged prostates can lead to cancer which can only be treated with surgery or radiation. Early detected cancer treatments have a 90% success rate.

My Doc told me that many insurance companies don't even cover preventative prostate exams until a man hits 50. If the same rule applies to transsexuals then we're talking a pretty narrow slice of the TS population.

our prostates are shrinked due to hormones, most of the antiandrogens tsgirls take are used for male prostated cancer which lowers or stops testoterone, in turn shrinking the prostate. But ya when the time comes ill get it checked out to make sure all is good.

That's true, we worry more about having that problem in the testis, even if they shrink as well as our member. My doc says we should get them after we turn 35 due to all the hormones we taking trough our lives.

But is my doctor wants to check me up now, would love to , he is hot, big hands and well more than pain I would enjoy it. Lol.

If the girl has been on hrt long enough, I seriously doubt the dr would even be able to find the prostate. HRT makes them shrink so much.

I would have to believe that testes and prostate cancer risks are virtually nonexistant for someone who has been on hrt long enough. However all that goes out the door if we're talking about a 50 y.o. transiter who went on hrt last month.

It's a sign you are getting old when the docs , getting more interested in your arsehole than your cock and balls. I had a medical at work six mth ago and the poor doctor had to stick his finger up my bum.Very embarrassing for both as he is also the medic for my rugby team.

Shit Iam not shy of thirty and just last week a female gp stuck her finger up my arse because I done my back in at work. At least her fingers were smaller anyway .
