Penn has an excellent chance. Brolin and Hirsh could get nominations also. Very fine cast. Real actors. No musicians, no rappers, no solcialites, just damm good actors. My kinda movie.

Very solid performance by Penn.

And I thought Gus Van Sant did a great job with the story as director. He can be a bit over the top in some of his movies but he left some of his ego and stylistic tendencies on the floor to tell this story in a more "straight" fashion.
