Nyc Help: sublets, apts, etcc

Well I have lived back in Kentucky for a year and IM ready to get out LOL...............I was thinking of trying NYC for 3 or 4 months and if I like it stay otherwise move back too Ft. Lauderdale.

Since I want to really experience the NYC life since Ive worked hard and love it, was looking for Manhatten or close too it..........I really really like the 51st/8th area but Im sure its way out of my reach.

I posted looking for a sublet starting around March for 3 or 4 months but so far nothing really solid.........

So suggestions, feedback, anyone with contacts?
