i don't get the question.

It's like saying are: Italian transsexuals really transsexuals or are Russian transsexuals really transsexuals or are Cuban transsexuals... etc. Seems exceedingly pointless....

Ok I will bite. If they aren't trans then what the hell are they?

From what I can remember, is that Brazilian trans women, tend to view themselves as a third sex. So many believe that they can never be a full woman. And then along with that they would not classify thier sexual partners as 'straight', or just gay either. Along with that, they would not be as uncomfortable with expressing some 'male' things like topping.

There are many cultures around the world that view differently gender people as a third gender. Interestingly enough they also seem to have more acceptance of people in that category than in Western cultures. There was a posting just yesterday about a Mexican province where this view is popular.

There are women, who post here that have the same view, most notably Danielle Foxx. And Allanah Starr has also expressed the 'third gender' view.

So I think the OP was more about the semantics of the word rather than the actual status of the people invovled. There are those who feel that a only 'true' transexual, would desire to have SRS and be classified comepletely as thier new gender. They would not use their use sexual organs, except to gain money to get SRS, mostly. Likewise persons holding this view would be more likely to think of people who have sex with pre-ops to be gay. The others then, would not be true transexuals because they get pleasure from their male parts.

I am not saying these are my views, but that this was the topic the OP was raising, I believe.

I don't know you, but what about you? Are you just waiting until you have the surgery so you can get away from the "gay fags" on here. Or are you trying to enjoy your current life, until the next stage?

Or another question would be, do you know someone transistioning that you feel is not a true transexual?

(btw, I edited my last post to make better sense).

Of course they're transsexuals. What else are they? When one transitions from one sex to the other, they are called a transsexual. Hence trans (transfer/transform) and sexual (sex/gender). Being Brazilian has nothing to do with anything.

transexuas, yes. Transgendered? Maybe not. Alot of "Transexuals" are not true transgendered women, not just Brazilians.

Me? I'm trying to enjoy my life no matter where I am in it (I don't really think of life in stages, but as one long continuous thread). I don't consider the men here gay fags (most of them anyway), and even if I did so what? It's just my opinion after all, it's not like THAT would actually affect their life at all.

No I can't say I know someone that is transistioning that I feel is not a true transsexual. But then I haven't given it a ton of thought. It seems we all get hung up on labels and stages and categories way too much. You are who you are no matter what you are called IMO.

I hate to be disgustingly politcally correct but surely it's what each ts whether they are brazillian, American , or whereever want to define themselves as that matters? .

Maybe we should just stop putting labels on people like trying to explain the sexual orientation of men who have sex with transexuals. or some blokes here trying to tell the t-girls on here how they must feel about having a penis.

I personally define my own sexuality , I don't need some numpty to do it for me.

I lifted this 'summary' of the book from a post on another site.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

* Brazilian "travestis" do not consider themselves women. They think that anyone born with a penis who identifies himself as a woman must be mentally disturbed. For this reason, they do not at all seriously consider gender reassignment surgery, and look down with disdain on any who do get it. (One said, "Why would I want to become one of those cunts?")

* Despite this, they go through inordinate amounts of effort and pain in order to get very feminine, womanly bodies. Some of them have up to 20 liters (five *gallons*) of silicone injected directly into their bodies to create curves and ample buttocks.

* Travestis do have boyfriends, and spend much of their time obtaining a boyfriend, gossipping about other travestis boyfriends, and plotting to steal anothers' boyfriend.

* The boyfriends of travestis are not considered gay, unless they decide they want to be on the receiving end of sex (either anal or oral). A true boyfriend does not touch the travesti’s penis or acknowledge it, and if he ever does, that signals the beginning of the end of the relationship, as he is showing his "true gay colours!"

* Customers, on the other hand, often readily are on the receiving end of anal sex from the travestis. This is why they almost never select boyfriends from their customer pool.

* Very interesting point -- Despite the fact that the travesti does not get any actual sexual pleasure out of sex with the boyfriend, it is so important to have one that she will actually use money and gifts both before and during the relationship in order to woo a boyfriend. The boyfriend very often stays home, watches TV, and waits for the travesti to get home with her earnings from prostitution, rather than having a job himself. In this way, he seems to be living the traditional feminine role in the relationship, even though he always has to be the masculine one in bed!

im not sure if it was intended or what this james things deal is but i actually think its a very deep and interesting point to ponder...its quite layered and could have made for interesting discussion on many levels if everyone here wasnt so fast to jump on people to try and impress the girls or fall in line with the translitically correct bs...

again, i note this kid spews alot of implicitly offensive rhetoric with almost every thread, but ide take him over a dozen legends any time of the day...even if u hate his style, he makes u think, most of the clowns here are so interchangeable...except legend, no one is as uninteresting and as un-educated/informed/original as him
