Or how about you take yourself and your fine communist ideas and go elsewhere? You realize that logic can be extended to everything? There are people in the world without clean water or reliable food sources, or power. How about you give up all your shit too and just give it to them. Surely you don't need heat in your apartment, or power for the lights, etc..., certainly not when these people have nothing.Think of all the good that will come from redistributing your property.

Just for you, ol' buddy:

"The amount of poverty and suffering required for the emergence of a Rockefeller, and the amount of depravity that the accumulation of a fortune of such magnitude entails, are left out of the picture, and it is not always possible to make the people in general see this." - Ernesto Che Guevara

Don't stop there, NYBURBS! I know all this talk about nationalization has got you fired up and wildly enthusiastic. So listen to what the learned Mr. Learsy has to say about nationalizing the oil industry. Learsy knows more about oil than your palm knows about your pecker!

"Raymond J. Learsy is the author of the updated version Over a Barrel: Breaking Oil’s Grip on Our Future. A graduate of the Wharton School, he made his life in the fast-paced, risk-filled world of commodities trading, beginning in 1959. In 1963, he started his own firm and over twenty years expanded from the U.S. into Canada, the United Kingdom, Luxembourg, Brazil, and Pakistan, trading in an array of bulk raw materials and commodities, shipping to customers worldwide. In the 1980s, he became a private investor, and from 1982 to 1988, served as a Reagan appointee to the National Endowment for the Arts. Currently, he is a member of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. Learsy's analysis of the international oil trade, OPEC, and its impact on the American and world economy has been featured in the National Review Online, the New York Times, the Pipeline and Gas Journal, the Huffington Post and on CNBC. The gov't can't bail out or rescue anyone. It's hopelessly banktupt itself. https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/rankorder/2187rank.html This is the exteranl debt only. Not the internal debt. The revolution is coming.

Ban layoffs? It would be nice if CEO's and upper management cronies at places like the small three(Ford,GM,and Chrysler) found themselves being indicted under the RICO statutes for their embezzlement. They could share jail cells with the union scum from the UAW(unemployed auto workers). It is really a good idea to make a product someone WANTS TO BUY if you are in a competitive business like auto manufacturing.MAny businesses in the US are or will soon be obsolete. The Postal Service is an excellent example. They do not need six day delivery and if you live in Sh*tneck Wyoming, why should they deliver to you?People in rural areas should have to pick up their mail at PO boxes in larger cities.School teachers will go by thr wayside as well.Throwing money at a school system just to babysit stupid peoples stupid children is a joke.Where do the elitist send their children for their education(not just someone like Sen Frist or VP Chaney)? The Kennedy's and Jesse Jackson sent their children to private schools.Damn right someone should get a voucher to try to better education their child. Also,if your little bastard can not live buy the rules, kick his or her ass out of the public school system and YOU pay to get your cretin a high school degree or GED>

When Krupp AG faced economic hardship, Alfried would go so far as to melt down his gold awards & medals to pay his workers.

Alfried had one of the most progressive, dare I say socialist benefit systems in modern history. His company had its own health care (as in company hospitals, doctors, nurses), daycare, schooling system, nursing homes, everything imaginable & then some to spare. Yet the Krupp family were all neocons, I forget how many Krupp's died serving in WW2, but it was a sizable portion of that generation within the family.

The reason for the socialist aid packages in the company, the reason for selling off even personal belongings to make pay day for the workers was because Krupp knew that in return he would have the best workers around, they would be loyal, they would make less mistakes, and they wouldn't have reason to support the leftist politicians come election time... and all that was just good for business.

These wallstreet executives don't care about what's good for business, they care for what's good for their personal finances- and that's the whole problem. It's short sighted, and it just doesn't work.

Can you imagine an American manufacturing where ceo's sold off PERSONAL yachts, houses, and heirlooms just to make payday?
