LA TG Party Scene ... tips, hints or suggestions?

Hey all,
I am taking a trip to LA in late December, and would like to get some info on TG parties in the area. I was thinking of going to Goddess Night at Club Cobra, does any one know if there will be a party there on Thurs Jan 1?

If so, any tips, hints or suggestions would be greatly appreciated (greatly appreciated).
