Trying to find an online searchable database of TS Classic (1970s - 1989) Movies

Do you mean adult movies? Here is a listing of movies which are not adult. They may have a major theme featuring a ts or just a minor role. But there is usually a description of what part the ts or cross dressing character plays. This page is for the decade of the ninties.

If you are looking for adult movies, my suggestion is to look up individual actresses on ts data bases. Heres one which lists ts performers and which movies they have been in:

Do a lot of these movies even have plots? Another approach would be to look at the catalogues of those companies which produce the movies, such as "Evil Angel" or Joey Silvera.

I don't think such a database exists on the net that I know of. Most releases cataloged start about '95. Before that, this was such a specialized sub-niche that you might be lucky enough to find a few listings under gay or fetish categories. Most distributors then were ones that handled fetish material. There used to be a book printed yearly for the trade called "The Blue Guide to Adult Films" that had about the only compiled listing of seperate gay and straight titles from the advent of the video era. It was the only one that I know of that listed any domestically distributed TS titles.
