NYC, for sure--often imitated,never duplicated. Any time of day,any time of year, it is the ultimate.

(I still think i'd rather live in Montana, tho...GO GRIZ!)

2. Orlando
3.NYC
4. Atlantic City

I would of picked NYC but its to many rude people. I guess if i was born and raised here it would be different. Also if your in manhattan the older white women clutch their purses when they around any black male, like you won't that shit lol. I would have to say NYC has the best women. Orlando the best weather.

New York is a melting pot of cultures from everywhere. New York is also an epicenter for music, sports, art, fashion, performing arts etc. New York is the financial capital of the world, and one of only 3 command cities for the international economy (the other two being london and tokyo). We are the largest regional economy in the US, with the highest GDP and monetary velocity.

NY, along with paris, tokyo, and london, is one of 4 cities ranked as a full service world city, AKA a global city. The criteria for this includes international influence, overall culture, presence of international culture, the city's financial institutions and influence on money markets, influential media outlets, along with a few others. The only other cities in America that can compare are CHicago and San Fransisco, neither being on the same level.

Apparently, it's Denver, Colorado!! Why, you ask??? Because it seens everybody in the country and the northern half of Europe wants to move here......
We have four(4) seasons;
Skiing, including the X Games;
Hiking, Biking, White-Water Rafting, Ballooning, Sky-diving, Mountain Climbing, NHRA Mile High Nationals;
Teams representing all the major and most minor sport;
The ONLY Rugby field built AS a Rugby field in the country;
More dive shops per capita than California or Florida(go figure);
No nasty-assed humidity;
What is now the 4th busiest airport in the nation;
Where everybody here is part of the Mile High Club, and lastly;
The Rocky Fuckin' Mountains!!!!

Austin is nice based on my visits there.

I'll put in a word for 3 Pacific Northwest cities... Seattle, Portland, Vancouver BC.

As for "best", I would factor in employment considerations, cost of living, multi-cultural aspects, and the future. A recent "Atlantic" magazine piece is an excellent article on the Best Cities to survive the Crash. Pretty interesting stuff.

http://www.theatlantic.com/doc/200903/meltdown-geography

Basically, outside of Chicago, you don't want to live in the Midwest. And you might want to check your assumptions about the supposed rosy future of the Sun Belt.

Miami.

Not North Miami, Miami Beach,Coral Gables, South Miami, etc. I mean Miami, the actual city.

Miami has to be the best city in America b/c there is little if anything American about it.

Tell me about it, before i moved to NY all i heard about was gang fights and shootouts, and how the Bronx and Brooklyn is so dangerous and bad at night.

Im 25 175lbs and noone has fucked with me anywhere, so if your not lookin for trouble usually your ok because NYPD is practically everywhere you are.

yup agreed i'm 22 5'9 155lbs. when I first moved out here I thought oh shit what have I gotten myself into. One of my favorite quotes "I don't want trouble, and trouble don't want me"

New york is probably the safest city in the country.
All the grit is getting priced out of town.

Biggest dissapointment for me is Miami
