models should do what makes them happy. if they are comfortable 'taking chances', they should. it is impossible to please everyone, and unfortunately, some people will always type cast, there is really no way to change that. i think a model should be happy with her work, taking chances or not.

thats just my thoughts though.

I know what you mean, people kinda get use to a look, sometimes people say that a change is refreshing but for example when it is your girlfriend and she gets her hair cut a bit different you cannot bring yourself to like it because it is not what you are use to.....but of course after time you are like well hey thats pretty cool.

You have people that can adapt easily to change in others and their own life but you have some drab people that cant cope with change in their own life- hell i know people who wear the same type of jeans, same brand of shirt and same kinda running shoes- they are set in their ways and will never change their wares. And i would imagine some of these people wouldnt like their fav pornstars look changing too because it would put a kink in their stagnant world

I think people sometimes have an image that they use to start them off perhaps... myself i have always been a gothy looking tranny, black hair, red,purple streaks pasty skin and heavy makeup...

But now i am more along the line with my transitioning and am getting boobs, some face bits done i am moving away from that look to a more natural sensual look...

Some people have mailed me to say dont move away from the gothic look as its quite unique and refreshing but i guess the end of it is, you do what you feel happy with...

For me i want to move away from the gothy stuff as i associate that with my early entry into tv/ts scenes, now i feel like that come december i will have turned a new chapter and want to alter my look to reflect that...

That make sense or am i just rambling on like a mad woman????

But yeah taking chances is good, the end of the day you can always revert back to your old look if need be..

i don't think kimber is really 'type-case' persay, she just looks much better with a more natural look. all the credit to her or anyone for trying new things, but you have to anticipate criticism when you do it. that goes for any form of entertainment that people like. say on the next episode of the office, they go outside the box and have a more serious and dramatic storyline, some people might like it, but you're going to have a lot of people saying "why did they do that? just stick with what works!"

bottomline, versatility is always encouraged and appreciated, but not everyone is going to respond to it the same way.

Not opposed to experiments, sometimes they work out and sometimes they don't. Hard to imagine unless you see the end result.

There's no clear cut answer for this, but I'm not opposed to change per se.
