Orchi isn't as expensive as SRS. It also eliminates the production of testosterone...which lessens the doses of estrogen that has to be taken, making it easier on the liver.

Not just that but spironolactone is nasty stuff, the way it can mess with hydration levels & chemical levels like potassium can cause irregular heart beats, trouble couping with high heat, and various muscle cramps. It's pretty safe, but I can surely see a benefit in finding a way to stop taking it.

There's no reason for a trans person to go through menopause the way GG's do, so if someone is willing to stay on their estrogen, it can do a lot, especially for the skin.

I know of a few gay guys, who are not trans in any way, who take small dosages of estrogen just for the anti aging and/or skin benefits.

I guess its how you look at the aging process.

Generally people think of skin when they think of aging, how smooth it is, its complexion etc- and for that estrogen would be the best way to delay the aging process. The gay guys who take low dosages of E, take it for what it does to their skin, nothing more.

Taking testosterone would probably help delay the aging process (for guys) as far as being active goes. It's not coincidental that the steroids athletes take are very close to testosterone chemically.
