So i met another TS in my town. well actually 2 towns over.
Her name is Kameekah(sp) from Paterson. She moved down here for some reason. I know its not school or work tho :? .

A mutual friend of ours picked me up and she was in the car when i got in. i was so excited and told her how happy i was to finally meet another girl in my area. and how eager i had been to make friends and have a ts sista who i dont have to travel hours and miles to see.

She gave me that shady half smile and turned her attention back to her text messages. I was silent for the rest of the night and didnt say anything else to her

...so much for that.

That sucks. Maybe she was afraid to open up? It's frustrating when you want to say something to someone and can't.

BTW, you're stunning.

well, if she hasn't got ur looks, then she clearly just sees you as competition. (same as with gg's.) I guess it's kinda shitty of her, but I wouldn't be too bothered bout it.

oh, im fine. i just felt like it was an HA-worthy anecdote.

afraid to open up? no. kinda stuck up really.

and for the rest of the night she was flirting with unresponsive butchqueens, which was kind of painful to watch.

Alyssa,

Someone once said that there are basically two types of people on this planet: The first type enter a room and via their attitude, behavior, and/or verbalizing go, "Well, here I am ..!". The second type or person enters a room and to any person there says, "Hey, there you are!".

Yes, yes, it is a lot more complicated and diverse than that, but I need not tell you what camp either of you fall into in this case. You obviously fall into the latter example by your effort to engage with her. ... She didn't even possess the slightest trace of decency to at least exhibit some modicum of civility toward you, if even feigned. In other words, she wasn't worth the effort, PARTICULARLY when given the prospective friendship you had in mind for the two of you, so don't you worry your pretty little head over it anymore, ya hear, girl !? :)

Put it this way, judging by her first interaction with you, if you had continued trying to talk to her you may have found out that she was a raving ditz or simply an ignoramus, who you wouldn't want to talk to without being heavily medicated beforehand.

Consider yourself lucky that you weren't inundated with stupid conversation the entire evening.

On the topic of book learnin' I love reading but really shouldn't be reading any fun stuff, stupid uni, stupid textbooks, stupid articles, stupid essays...

That's sad that it went down that way... always figured we were a small enough crowd we'd be nicer to folks, but just doesn't seem to be the case...
