I love DR G. She's the Rachael Ray of autopsies.
I like to watch her show while eating a big plate of spaghetti.
On an episode called the Chain of Life & Death:

http://www.tv.com/dr.-g-medical-examiner/the-chain-of-life-and-death/episode/365534/summary.html?tag=ep_guide;ep_title;4

A 28-year-old stripper collapses in her home and refuses to go to the hospital. Later, she is found dead in bed. Her brother reveals that the woman used be a man, but recently had a sex change. Needle marks are found on her breasts, but no drugs are found in her system. Dr. G finds that silicone leaks from the puncture marks, but the woman had no breast implants. Had the woman been injecting her breasts with silicone, and did this somehow cause her death?

Turns out that the store-bought industrial silicone injected into her breast got into her blood stream and somehow clogged her heart. Forgive my lack of medical terminology.

Just say no to do-it-yourself breast enhancements. Leave that to the Professionals.

I have several friends who are getting pumped. Every time I hear them talk about it, I want to sit them don and shake them REALLY hard and/or slap some sense into them, but since I know it wouldn't do any good and all that would happen is that they would get pissed off at me, i bite my lip and STFU. But I still fell really badly inside. I wish they wouldn't.

But it's like any drug addiction - and yes, I think in the TS community silicone is a drug addiction - it's something you know is bad for you, but you can't help yourself but do anyway.

As much as I hear that its bad for you and that I shouldnt do it,,, I still want to, there are times I say that Im not sure if its too risky but I know damn well im going to end up getting pumped......

I would like to sit up here and tell u all that its bad for you but something tells me the reward out weighs the risk. Even though its dangerous.......I still want it done!!!!!!

AWFUL! I know many girls who have had this same procedure done, its a scary sight to see any needle going into the chest area,, a person i know who had the same thing done had a minor complication due to the fact that she went out the same night ,, feeling a little too cute after she had it done,, other than resting and having it heal, she had some silicone leakage ,, the doctor said if it would of leaked any more it would had entered her lungs. She had a minor pneumonia. Before i got my implants i often thought about getting silicone injections instead on breat implants.. but i just found the risk tooo high and scary, sure any type of surgery is frightful , but ... THIS JUST SEEMS BEYOND.

yepits the single most dangerous thing we can do to our bodies,it wasnt that long ago 28 months actually i got pumped in toronto on a saturday night my hips ass cheeks lips forhead and around the eyes and about 3 or 4 weeks after that the silicone moved around into my tearducks and blocked them, and becasue of that everyday i woke up it took about 10 to 15 mins of warm cloths to open my eyes completely blinded and burning.i cried and cried but all that would come out was the 1500 dollars worth of silicone.i was so scared i knew i couldnt go to my doctor because its illeagal so i called dr.sony and i underwent 12 hours of exensive surgury to remove it.he cut me from ear to ear and around my forehead pulled my skin right down to my lips, thank god for him and his staff who probably saved my life.after that i was finished with any silicone in my face then a year later he did a neck lift and scraped the rest out that had fell from my chin pretty scary stuff.now i dont preach about it cause i know girls will do what it takes to look beautifull but i just want them to know the risks ive lived the bad side and walked away i was one of the lucky ones.

Its true,, we as Tg's want to have a femmine figure face/ etc... Im not opposing to it,, its just when girls go overboard with it. I have had body work done and the one who performed it,, did a great job. Being a naive and young at that time in my transition , i had all these old school girls who look liked cartoons telling me oh do your face . lips, etc.. you have to have pump that ass men don't like skinny, you need your lips done they are too thin ,,,blah blah bah,,, and being so young i took attention, and thought for a second,, maybe they are right... I guess i had a angel on my shoulder who saw me through cause now all those girls who gave me that "so called" advise are now in regret and are paying to have all that silicone removed..... I dodged that bullet!
