I noticed you say in one of your TSSeduction shoots that you're studying philosophy. I checked out the website of the college you mentioned, and it does seem to be a good route to take. One can transfer on from there and go even even farther, academically speaking. This is quite common in the UK as well. One can attend a smaller institution for a couple of years, and then transfer over to a larger university.

I got credit for an HND (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Higher_National_Diploma) I had taken years earlier, when I signed up with the Open University (http://www.open.ac.uk/) and started studying philosophy. I graduated with a BA degree in 2005. If you find you're interested in the subject, just remember that not all philosophers are good, or particularly interesting, writers. So there will probably be some topics in philosophy you don't like as well as others. But if you do start working in an area you enjoy, then it can be fascinating, and quite rewarding. The two writers who I enjoyed most were John Stuart Mill, who wrote "On Liberty (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/On_Liberty)," and a certain Mr. Niccolo Machiavelli, author of "The Prince". (Who is currently appearing as my atavar.)

So good luck with your studies, I'm sure you'll do well. :)
