For me it's Biggie then Nas. Nas is still in the process of building his legacy though.

and so you guys know, there are only 10 options, so I did not forget about Chuck D, Tribe, Jungle Brothers, De La, Mobb Deep, Kane, Beasties and a million others but for some reason others didn't show up as a choice this go round.

If Christopher was on the list, I'd vote for him. Since he's not, I chose Shawn, with Nasir second.

LMAO, Big L as in Big L from the DITC (Diggin in Tha Crates) click, which includes Lord Finesse, Fat Joe, O.C, Diamond D and Showbiz & A.G.

JWBL, personally Big L never did it for me. Papoose reminds me a lot of him. Dudes with strong lyrics and slick wordplay, but have only one flow and one style. I can't listen to 12 songs with a cat sounding the same exact way on each cut, but Big L did have some fire lyrics though.

Big L was before his time. R.I.P.
D.I.T.C. first album is one of my favorites.

I would have to Nas because of his ability to change his style and have a range of topics to rap about.

Nasir Jones is the Greatest of All Time, 9 studio albums, countless classic tracks mixtapes and underground raps, and he raps about real shit most of the time from 1992 to present he still brings the new york essence to modern hip hop and beyond. Plus he inspired countless real MC's from Kanye to Lupe and he collabarates with everyone from dead prez to Jay-Z to AZ

"Your best success is my biggest blunder" - Nas
