I'm gonna miss watching it online at work, it was a nice break from my daily work!

For me Bolt was the man of the games, not Phelps since he actually didn't win them all.

On this, the closing ceremony was easily the most impressive co-ordinated spectacle I have ever seen. It doesn't compare with a beautiful night sky or a magical goal in soccer, but it I've never seen anything like it yet.

it was a great ceromony indeed.

Uhm dinand what do you mean phelps did not win them all isn't 8 enough not to mention 7 world and 1 olympic record. Not want to take anything away form bolt but Phelps is the man for these olympics and looking at his gold medal count the greatest olympian of all time

I wonder how much slave labor was involved in the ceremony...and were these unfortunate participants also forced to wear diapers because of the duration of the event like the people in the opening ceremony?

Anyway, I guess it's now OK to eat dog meat in public over there again...fucking savages...fuck their ceremony...

Probably no slave labour Chefmike. "unfortunate participants"?? The interesting thing here is that you're applying your principles to people who are brought up as Communists. For all you know, the people who partook will treat this as the biggest honour of their lives.

I'm sure no one had to be talked into being part of that.

If the USA held an Olympic ceremony like that, I would want to be in it. It's a once in a lifetime experience.

And after all the suffering the athletes went through to be in world class shape, I would more than will to put up with a little pain for the show to go.

If they told me in advance, "you got to wear a diaper and you may have to piss in your pants. And it's going to be fuckin' hot, too." I'd say, "bring it."

What Chefmike said...

It's good to see that we can still agree on some issues, Nino...and whether or not I agree with you, it doesn't change the fact that you have always been a worthy contributor to this forum anyway.

So like we said, fuck those savages....

By savages I mean people who eat dogs.

chefmike

I don't give a flying fuck if it's part of their culture, they are savages IMO.

chef mike i respectfully disagree with you.

Their culture and life is so different from mine i dare not judge them (besides i thought koreans ate dogs as was mentioned when they hosted the world cup) no offence to dog lovers or vegetarians but since i eat pig cow and occasional horse and deer and chicken etc , if they want to eat dogs i can live with that

I enjoyed watching the closing. I thought it was marvelous. One thing though, the UK's presentation was a bit lame or was lacking something. I wonder how their opening will be for 2012? Will it be a lot better (beat?) than China's?

I actually kind of liked the British presentation better. The Chinese ceremony (both opening and closing) was spectacular both in size and coordination, but somehow it is something we have seen before and after a while it got boring. The British presentation was a bit different and I liked what they did. Maybe it's just because I don't understand the Chinese culture as well as the British. Being a European, England is just more "familiar" to me.
There is no doubt that the ceremonies in London will be no way near as spectacular as the Chinese ones, again with regards to size and coordination, but I am sure that their ceremonies will be just as impressive and entertaining, in another way.

He was handed the 7th one. It was shown on photos he actually tagged secondly.

This is an excellent example of "Trollism", which I posted about in another thread.

Why do you post here? Do you have any connection to TS girls beyond viewing porn? That's not a bad thing, but just being an anonymous loser on an internet forum doesn't give a great deal of leverage in trying to be a "bad ass".

How are your friends Quinn and whoever doing?

Do you realize I'm laughing at you, not with you? I'm not sure if you understand that, although it's funny either way. Shut-in loser, trying to be a tough guy on the internet.

Heh. Crazy people are funny.

Wrong, tardbot. You are without a doubt batshit crazy, but you are not funny. You never have been. You are just tiresome, annoying, and predictable. Same as it ever was.

It will be a complete and utter wet fart. Everything we do these days is pretty shit. I have yet to meet a londoner who wants the games. Paris should have won the bid.

Damn, Chefmike, I feel for you. It sounds like you're in some type of pain. Something happened to you in the past that you are angry about and you can't let it go.

To you, everyone is an asshole. Every musician and actor sucks. Nothing is any fun.

There is a great book out there entitled, "The power of now" by Eckhart Tolle. It will explain to you what you are doing, and in one second, stop it. I guarantee you that you will be happier. Or at least, at peace.

If you have a library card, you can download the audio book for free and listen to it in your spare time.

Good luck. And go ahead and rip me a new asshole.

It's a damn shame that your pussy is still sore, Francis.

You just looked up and posted a link to a thread three months old. Do you, or can you, ever leave whatever environment you live in? Is this all there is to your life? I honestly believe it is. Look at your post count.

Be forewarned, if you disagree with the pompous ass who calls himself seanchai your posts/and or threads may be deleted. He will pander to anyone in order to make a buck. He will gladly and cravenly turn a blind eye on the atrocities of the Asian countries who he empathizes with, all the while simultaneously exploiting the unfortunate people who inhabit these countries. Despicable.
