Madonna.

When you go to a Madonna concert it's a SHOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.

Sets, costumes, props, choreography-etc, etc, etc.

She's not the best singer, or dancer-but she is one hell of an entertainer.

The last tour was amazing-her best since Blond Ambition.
$400 a ticket (Confessions Tour) and it was worth every penny.

I can't believe I'm saying this but.........Barry Manilow. Also the Barenaked Ladies put on a great show. Elvis is King!!!

I like Michael Buble too but if you check some YouTube clips his voice is kind of shaky live. :(

One thing I'll look forward to if I move back to the UK is concerts - we get fuck all in Hawaii (Styx this week ... who I can't be done with).

I have two tickets to her Sweet and Sticky Tour and spent $360. Debating to sell them or go with someone.

Anyone see Justin Timberland or Mana or Enrique Iglesias with Aventura?

Dave Matthews is another great concert and I heard Country Thunder is a blast.

Man, that came up quick. But come on-- VICTOR BORGE! Anybody with me on this one?

It's all based on someone's tastes and what they call entertainment. For me it's RUSH. I saw them four times in the last ten months and they rocked harder each and every time as well as having an amazing light show.

And, one of the best parts is that there's no inferior opening act to suffer through. Just three hours of the world's most talented band. Awesome!!

best I ever saw was pink floyd momentary lapse of reason tour. would have been even better if roger waters was with them at that time

The greatest of my generation were Queen (with Freddie Mercury).

Without question the greatest performer I ever saw was Freddy Mercury...hands down the finest showman of alltime! Nobody alive can compare to him...saw him twice, once on The Game Tour, and then again a couple years later.

Check out the DVD We will Rock You which was filmed in Montreal...doesnt do the Queen experience justice, but it will give an idea of what a talented man freddy was!

Oh yeah...no doubt about that...watching some dumb slut lip-synch to a clumsily executed aerobics routine always does it for me too...now that's entertainment!

I think the only way Britney Spears entertains these days is sitting in a recliner with a cigarette hanging from her mouth while ashes fall onto her ever-expanding beer gut, doing shots while ignoring the cries of her children.

I'm a fan of a lot of modern hard rock. Usually the concerts suck quite a bit. But I would say that

Clutch
and
Sevendust

have an amazing show. Those aren't the biggest artists I've seen, but they do a lot better job than some of the bigger names. Operator and Avenged Sevenfold do a decent job also.

My Favorite Country show of all time was Kevin Sharp back in the day. Remember "She's sure taking it well"?

I have seen a lot of shows over the past 11 years since I saw my first one, which was No Doubt/Lit/Black Eyed Peas. Not bad for a first show. But my all time favorite shows are the following in no particular:

Phish
Radiohead
Jay-Z
The Derek Trucks Band
Al Green
My Morning Jacket
Coldplay
Tool
M.I.A.
Yonder Mountain String Band
