Just a link I found on Digg... and thought of it as interesting (not porn related)....

A little on intersexed cases in previous Olympic games...

http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2008/jul/30/olympicgames2008.gender

It says that for a transgendered to participate, the individual needs to get SRS, and then wait for at least two years after SRS to participate in olympic games.

The only way a postop will ever be taken seriously in winning at a sports competition is if they're a FtM beating normal XY guys.

But that's just my 2¢

if newbies pussysexuals were taken serious they would even be allow to compete in the olympics so obviously they are taken seriously. shows how the world is changing. By simply competing shows they are been respect and taken seriously in our new gender. how many athletes don't win the gold metal does this mean they are not taken seriously.

if it said shemales competing in the Olympics you gay cock loving tranny chasers would be in the first benches trying to see if the bitch gets a hard on. You guys are so fucking gay

You guys are always so bitchy n catty you really need to get some good big fully functional dick caused honestly your turning into nagging bitches.

probably but then again he may have been on more androgens during puberty than any man... ive really no idea how to disallow adrogens and steriods for the rest of the athletes and still keep a level playing field with transsexual competitors in it

The IOC announced that they will do swlwctive gendewr testing on female athletes this olympics, not visual tests but blood or dna type tests.

This will be the worst olympics in history because of where it's being held at.

So you're saying it wouldn't be a big issue if a postop MtF beat a bunch of GGs and got a medal at the Olympics? :?

Even if they are allowed to compete, that doesn't mean there wouldn't be an outcry over it. Obviously this is just academic speculation until both examples occur. I am just presenting my prediction, which may or may not be the case (we will have to see how things play out). Obviously, if postops play and finish poorly it won't be a huge debate among the general public, and it will be just another one of those Olympics "special interest stories" where they talk about what athletes have had to go through to get there.

If true; that only means it is still a big deal even for those running the event. If its no big deal that postops can play then there would be just visual screenings I would imagine.

I do kind of wonder how things will go down over there because it is in China. Sure there is the pollution issue but the gov is already reversing itself on its past agreements over things like internet censorship (see yesterday's AP wire). Reporters were originally told they'd be able to have uncensored internet access. Not true as of yesterday (according to AP, not in China so I can only go by media sources).

What year is this? 1994? Didn't this happen ages ago with a few AIS ladies (XY girls who truly develop vaginas naturally) having problems with this, leading them to stop DNA-based testing for athletes?

They WILL be doing some sort of testing. I didn't pay much attention to the type mentioned.

That's exactly right, then there's the mass banning of vehicles into Bejing, and a raft of other gov't crackdowns on the local populace. I wouldn't go there if you paid me for these olympics or for any other reason.

whats the big deal if a newbie pussysexual win against gg ..
which is not the case . if anything girls have a better chance since they do not have to shot hormones while their body is in a natural recurrent homeostasis state meaning is mostly always balance.

As to the point of what one idiot wrote is that mtf woman wheren't taken seriously ,,
As you can see we are taken seriously if not we wouldn't even be allow to compete. That shows equality.

As to the outcry society always cry for something

kinda like your gay tranny chasers ya cry when the dick goes in and cry when they dick is out..

That shows they're letting trans postops compete, that doesn't show there is equality in practice- we will have to wait and see what happens.

Societal outcry does make a difference, sure there are always some in society that will find something to speak out against but if that outcry is widespread it does have ramifications.

To use an example that has nothing to do with trans issues: if a referee or judge makes a blatantly incorrect ruling that is allowed to stand, the person who is awarded the win won't necessarily be taken seriously for it. Sure they will still have the win on their athletic resume, but in the eyes of the public they won't be seen as having a legitimate win.

And that is the point I was talking about.

True equality isn't just institutional policy, but includes the way people are seen & interacted with in society. A gg who is employed by an "equal opportunity employer" may not have their sex impact their job, hiring, firing or pay raises... but it's not true equality if the coworkers go out to drink outside of work and start spreading rumors about "the dumb bitch that management shouldn't have hired for a job that's only guys should do." Even if these coworkers are entirely civil and appropriate at work, and the girl is oblivious to what they're saying at the bar friday night, it isn't true equality... although it is, most obviously, better than blatant discrimination practices.

Never mind, read this article:

http://olympics.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/07/27/lab-ready-for-sex-tests-for-female-athletes/

What happened was is that there was mandatory testing done for ALL female athletes until 1999. They abolished the mandatory testing and now it is done for select cases. It seems that AIS cases are allowed, but are done on a case-by-case basis.
