Hi everyone,

So I'm going to be in SF this week and I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good hotel (IE one that is in a good location and not sketchy)?

Best experiences? Worst experiences?

Are you looking for something high end, or something more regular?

Cathedral Hill. Nice, not expensive, and walking distance to Diva's

If you are ever in Los Angeles, I know of at least one motel you shouldn't stay in. :(

I never stay anywhere without consulting here first - I add a lot of comments also.
It's never let me down.

as for SF I would stay as far from the loin as possible... SF is pretty easy to get around in, so consider where you want to hang out as well as options for parking. Either was you probably want to take a cab if you are going to Diva's

Then stay in a neighborhood you like. With things to do in the area and accessible for people. Potrero Hill, Russian Hill, North Beach, Upper Fillmore... you have lots of options, and the EastBay is a whole other option

That's a long way from SF - and parking is very expensive in SF.
It's a walking city, once your there you don't need your car.

Yeah but my sister lives in Pacifica and I'm not walking to her house. Besides I can park the car and walk when i get to where I'm going. I wouldn't take one of my own cars into SF (or NYC or DC, etc) but a rental - theives seem to know rentals and they leave them alone.

Er, ok. No offense but your sister living in Pacifica isn't going to help Mandy with her hotel choice

Also, not sure where you get your information - your correct thieves do know rental cars ... and they tend to break into them more often as the chances are their is luggage inside.

Anyway - enjoy SF - I was just there and Diva's was great.

I was just pointing out a good quality place (and they have more Marriotts in the city).

Thieves will break into a car if they see something in it. I leave NOTHING in view or in the trunk. Id rather have them break into an empty trunk than steal the car - which was my initial point: Why steal a base model rental when the hopped up one is right next to it?

Anyway, I hope Mandy enjoys her trip and I'm looking forward to mine in aug.

Is this your first time coming to the Bay Area, tsmandy?

No. I visit every month and a half or so. But I normally stay with friends in the East bay, I hate hotels. I'm usually ok with doing outcall only, but I was thinking that maybe on this trip I would take a turn hosting and move my operation into the city (even though I'm terrified of SF). My best friend lives in the Oakland hills, and I'm not sure more money is worth missing his company and cooking.

Considering that you have a friend that you may want to visit often, I might suggest getting a place that's close to one of the BART Stations.

And why are you afraid of S.F.? S.F. is more safe than Oakland is.

Ever since 89 I've been scared of getting trapped in SF after an earthquake. So I've been slowly getting over my fears.

Le Meridian has always been one of my favorites..... and at least one of the escorts I know works out of them in the Bay Area and Beverly Hills and she has never had any problems
