How to trick McDonald's into serving you "breakfast" at lunchtime and vice-versa. http://www.boingboing.net/2008/07/11/howto-trick-mcdonald.html

Why would you want McDonalds to serve you anything at any time? The stuff they sell is tasteless rubbish 8)

How was that a "trick"? It was just two fat guys over-eating.

Their salads aren't half bad, I admit I go there sometimes late at night. I usually don't go to bed to close to 5am, so if I want something to eat at 2-3am I really only have three options, make something, go to mcdonalds, or go to a truck stop as nothing else is open 24 hrs near here.

Is so, but incredibly funny, nonetheless. :D

There's worse eats than Quag's (McDonald's), though not many. I remember my first and only experience at Jack [Off] In The Box back in the 70's. Ewwww! C'mon, the chain was owned by Purina Chows, the pet food company. Do the math. :?

If I'm truly desperate, I'll eat at Quag's (But never their breakfast), but prefer Burger King (Even though I've never forgiven them for their lame policy of nuking everything). Wendy's is better (Especially if you find one with the Super Bar). I worship Chic-fil-A. :peanutbutter

Latest menu experiment at BK is their angus 'steak' burgers. Higher end burger, larger patty, with some twists on toppings. I tried the "Loaded" version, which sounded very good: Angus burger, with BBQ sauce and loaded with toasted onion and baked potato topping, sour cream & chive.

Now, to me, "...baked potato topping, sour cream & chive..." sez 'sour cream & chive'. Mmm, sounds tasty, especially with the toasted onion (Think bacon bits, only crisp, breaded onion bits). However, BK miscommunicates this recipe somewhat as I found 'baked potato topping' to mean baked potato =AND= topping. The baked potato is mashed/sliced on top of the burger with the toasted onion. While not bad, it was unexpected (If I wanted a baked potato with my burger, I'd order a baked potato with my burger) and the potato weighs heavy with the large burger and the barrel o' fries that comes with the meal deals.

I recommend the BK angus burger, but it would be best if they can subtract the potato from the equation.

Oh, and I'm not a total barbarian: I only dine at certain BKs once a month or so because they rack up mileage points for me. :D

So, can one assume that over 300 posters here frequent McDonalds? I didn't think it would garner 30 views, let alone 328.

:D
