The director knows how to make films, He really is becoming one of the best when it comes to special effects. I might see this but then again this movie seems dead, Like it came from hell.

Very much. Rating isn't much of an issue to me. No need for this to be R.

The amazing artistry of Del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth and the trailers would tend to make me say yes. (Besides, I think Selma Blair is a hunny) The most disturbing aspects of Labyrinth were founded on the realism of the Civil War and real characters dying. In the comic book world of Hellboy, I don't think this would be a problem.

So what did everyone think?

I loved the first one so this one needs to grow on me. Thought it was good though. Great visuals, great Hellboy one-liners and some great action sequences. And lots more Abe!

Saw it and have to give a full price rating... won't feel cheated but won't feel like a deal either.

Overall I think it did a good job with all but one character, and while he's not quite the comic character he's not bad.

The timing is what's off a bit... and Pan's is a bit too influential in the imagery.
