I liked it a lot but i was nitpicking quite a bit.
*Ahem*
Personally i thought it was kinda filled with inaccuracies relative to the hulk's powers.
And i know what you mean about the little plan they have in play now.
Whaddaya think, Ally or Enemy?

does the hulk talk in this movie?

When trying to escape first engagement.

"Leave me alone...."

Last major fight.

"Hulk....SMASH!!!!"

I have to agree they did it right.

I was not expecting a good movie, but I was slapped in the face with awesomeness.

My only wish is that they would have more "Hulk Smash" and added a few "Hulk strongest of all!".

Surprisingly my wife liked it as well, and usually comic movies leave a sour taste in her mouth.

My ubergeek nephew loved it. He and his buds haven't shut up about since Saturday. If his parents like it when they see it, it's got the Geek of All Ages Seal of Approval.

I loved the Hulk when I was a kid. Had grocery sacks full of Hulk and Marvel comics. It's not my thing now,but it's nice to hear they got it right.

yes, and expect another Avenger hint in the next Marvel film which will likely be Thor. And FYI, there's also an Justice League movie on the way, featuring superman, batman, wonder woman, flash, green lantern, hawkgirl etc. in the works as well. Due in summer of 2009.
Marvel have to first get their solo performers out to get the hype of the Avengers movie going, which could likely feature Iron Man,Thor, Captain America, Hulk, Black Panther, Wasp and Ant-man, all in the same film. i don't know if there are plans for Scarlet Witch or Vision to enter this film, but i doubt the latter two for just the very first Avengers film.

Marvel studio promised more action, a smaller, less greener Hulk and
they finally produced on their promise. it wasn't loaded down with anger issue dialogue for the first hour and ridiculous CGI cartoon looking Hulk as the first one was. it still wasn't as much pure Hulk action as i'd like but
the two Hulk action episodes was plenty interesting and enjoyable.
i even like the superpowered villain named Abomination, a great deal better than i did the 1st one. it was a very noticeable upgrade over the first one. i really liked it.

This movie was really awesome and is much better then that ang lee version which was total crap,I'm glad we got more betty and hulk interaction and we get to see more of the hulk.I also like the some of the little things they took from the TV show to pay tribute I guess. The little guess cameo at the end was totally unexpected like jen mention they are obviously building up for some kind of avengers movie.

Overall I liked it, though it fell well short of the high marks that Iron Man hit. Highlights (aside from Liv Tyler) included "You won't like me when I'm hungry," the purple stretch shorts, and Stan Lee drinking the Hulk-infused soda.

Some of it was pretty poor, if you stop to think about it: sound wave "cannons" powerful enough to stagger the Hulk with no apparent massive energy source and with minimal collateral damage to the surroundings? Hulk bouncing off buildings like Spider-Man when he's capable of leaping miles at a time? Oh well....

I liked the ang lee version...it was done just like a comic bookAnd I love reading and collecting comics...But i can see why it failed too.. it was done as a comic book.
Havent seen this version yet. heard it has a lot in common with the tv show.
