View Full Version : The Long Awaited Return of Lisa Lawrence!

The girl who (almost) started it all. There were actually a few black tgirls in porn before Lisa, who appeared in some early movies but Lisa was certainly the first with a presence and a following. I couldn't find a list of how many movies she's appeared in but like Olivia Love (who has also recently returned to adult work after a 9 year hiatus on Shemale Yum (http://www.groobybucks.com/go/shemaleyum/tgirls)) at one point it seemed like every production would star either Lisa, Olivia, Kimberly, Meghan or one of the other handful of mid to late 1990's stars.

I've lost count of the number of times that she's been requested for this site and as she has not been modeling as far as I know, for a number of years, despite me contacting her many times, she remained aloof. In fact, I had no idea she's still looked good enough for shoots until, by coincidence, I bumped into her in the Las Vegas Lounge after the AVN Awards in 2007 and saw that she'd hardly changed! I paid her my compliments and was surprised to find out she knew about the sites and Grooby (http://www.grooby.com). I told her we'd love to get her on the site, anytime she fancied a comeback.

It took until early 2008 for the silver tongue of Buddy Wood to work its magic and finally got Lisa to commit to a photo shoot. This is the first full photo shoots I've seen of Lisa for over 8 years and Grooby Productions (http://www.grooby.com) and Black-Tgirls.com (http://www.groobybucks.com/go/black-tgirls/tgirls) is very proud to present, The Return of Lisa Lawrence!

So good to see Lisa back in action and you're so right there were very few of us in the 90's making movies lol. Gosh I feel really old now. Well, I was born in the 1700's so it makes sense lol. Maybe one day I'll come out of my cave and do another shoot for you, but I'm hella busy these days with the music and writing...but ya just never know.

Nice photo set there! I remember buying every volume of color climax transexual series to get all the Lisa Lawrence shoots. she was called "Honey" in that magazine if I recall correctly...

Then I tossed them all out because I was accumulating too much stuff!

I saw her at Peanuts on my first visit there a few years ago, and I too could not believe how she had punked Father Time. She looked the same, if not better.

Well Steven I'd love to do a shoot again but I'm all the way in Indiana and I don't fly and I hate to travel so I guess you'll have to send one of your photogs to my house and shoot me in my studio lol. I'm either getting totally lazy in my old age, or just less determined. Maybe that's why I'm writing books and recording songs these days, I can stay at home and just release everything from the comfort of my office :) :)

Thanx to you and the S-man there is now photographic evidence that I wasn't crazy when I said how great she looks these days. :D She's a genuine doll, too, with a great sense of humor and fun personality.
