This is a new film starring will smith as a fallen superhero who has problems with alcohol.I just watched a trailer in which he was on the beach relaxing and somehow a big ass whale washed on on shore a pissed off will smith throws the whale back to sea hitting a boat,the premise sounds like it will be a funny movie.

Yeah. Although the newer trailer that ran before Indiana Jones gives away a lot of the plot. The effects look really, really good though. Looking forward to this one.

Persoanlly i wouldn't have a problem with it because i know he wouldn't actually be hurting real animals,i'm capable of seperating fantasy from reality.You do know he actually saved the whale right?

Nope that scene wasn't funny to me at all hell the whole movie wasn't funny in my opinion.

wow, it's a fake whale in the movie and you're a real pornographer. Which do you think more people in the world would take offense to? The scene is used to establish his insensitivity and selfishness, and is an artistic decision.

Fairly obvious I was just winding Legend up - unfortuantely he didn't get it until someone else called him out ... he gets so incensed at others on this forum. I saw the trailer and thought it looked pretty funny.

I was hoping you were joking there was a decent amount of tension for a while.
I don't know how I feel about this movie because any movie that I can't assign a genre after watching the trailer I usually avoid because this movie is about a super hero with an addiction to alcohol which doesn't seem funny, but then there have also been some funny moments in the trailers. Guess I'll wait for someone to tell if they liked it.

I enjoyed watching the movie. Would have liked to have seen in the movie a short flashback when Hancock and Mary (Theron's character) were together\married.

It was a good movie. It was funny as hell too. I say go out and watch it its worth the time. I'm dying to tell some of the scenes but i dont want to spoil the movie. a little piece of advice though. when the actual movie goes off and the credits start popping up, sit there for about 20 more seconds because another short scene comes up and you dont want to miss it.

the second half of the movie was HORRIBLE...it was one of the most asinine plot twists, with zero explanation for what was really going on...the first half had promise, but it's like two different people wrote two different halves.......

Agreed. I thought the 1st half was very strong. It was a great little riff on super heros. They really lost me after the "big" reveal though. Still worth seeing IMO.
