That's what it is...a TS night at a gay bar. The vibe is WAY different; everyone is a lot looser, meaning not uptight. Peanuts is a bit more restrained; Goddess is trying to form it's own identity.

It is. Even on nights where it was "slow", I still had a ball. Leslie and Jazmun put on a great show...always.

There are no "basic differences". Both are transgender nights at a club. Cobra is 7.00 versus 10-15.00 cover charge and this gets you one free drink. Drinks are probably a little cheaper, since its the valley. There is no valet parking. The show is similar, but with a different host and performers. Its farther to the Yukon, but closer to Sittons, which is another tg friendly all night diner.

I could tell you more, but then you'd feel you had been there, without actually going, which defeats the purpose of my pimping the club here. LOL

For my few fans here, please don't let the fact I will not be there this week stop you from trying out the club.

For the remaining vast majority, please let the fact I will not be there this week stop you from staying home!! LOL

It's about 9 miles from Peanuts.

East on Santa Monica Blvd. Left turn on Highland Ave. Enter Hollywood Frwy (US 101). Exit Vineland Ave; turn right. Right turn on Burbank Blvd (there is a huge clown on the corner; it's a sign for a liquor store). The club will be on the north side of Burbank...just like the liquor store.

Coming from "Padre country :wink: ": I-5 north, US 101 north, then follow the above directions when you pass the Highland Ave exit.

As for lodging, the only places I can think of are near Universal Studios.

It was a holiday weekend so it wasn't as packed as usual, but 7969 was still happening on Friday. Inside the club, that is. You really can't tell much by driving by, only smokers and valets are out in front. :)

But the old saying Too many cooks will spoil the broth apparently applies to pictures too. I got those from Hara after she did a few small color corrections, and adjustments and I did my usual noise reduction and other minor tweaks, and apparently, no one likes our soup LOL

Club Cobra is a hot transgender night club, just like Peanuts, except its on Thursdays, not Fridays. It gets a lot of the same girls there each week who also go to Peanuts. Take a look at all the pics here and on the Club Cobra website, rather than taking the word of some hater here to see what kind of club it really is, Hara fit in perfectly and was very welcome by all the men at Cobra, and would be just as well recieved by the guys who go to Peanuts.

I really would love to be in attendance there next week. It sounds like it is going to be a lot of fun. The place is not only much more intimate than Peanuts, but the music isn't as loud, and women going topless is still allowed (see below) unlike Peanuts. Don't know about everyone else, but I went straight home. I had a lot to do that Friday...and that may be the case this week (Erotica LA is going on at the Convention Center, and I can't make it on Saturday).

Last night was a blast. All of the above pictured girls modeled some pretty damn nice gowns. My highlight of the evening was meeting Vaniity. She is genuinely one of the nicest persons you'll ever meet. If there was any night to visit the club, last night was it.

What a fun evening and whoever said it had a much different vibe than peanuts was right on the money. A great fashion show featuring beautiful ladies and many in the crowd could have also been walking the runway. Sat at a table during the show with Yasmin Lee. Enjoyed the opportunity of meeting a beautiful young woman with a friendly and outgoing personality. Felicia, great seeing you after so much time. You looked lovely as usual and thanks for the heads up re time. If you live in the LA area or are visiting, this is a great place to be on a thursday night.

Please read this important announcement for all who enter this place. I'm doing something I've never tried before and it's all for YOU! This involves of few of the girls - a few of the hottest girls that is. Now are you interested? OK, on July 3, we're having a DVD signing party at Club Goddess.
