This is the best shape Jessica's ever been because she had a personal trainer to train for this role. Since then her weight has fluctuated, at times, to excess of 30 pounds where she's carried quite the chubby look (not to mention even huger tits). So, she has NOT always been in good shape.

As far as Britney competing with her, I would say the only competition right now is to see who's career can crash and burn the fastest.

I wasn't disputing the use of personal trainers among celebs. I just stated that it took a trainer to get Simpson in shape for her pathetic dukes of hazzard role. Other than this point in time, she's been quite piggy as well. Read the post next time before replying.

Since you brought it up, there are a ton of celebs that DON'T use a personal trainer hence the stick figures that grace the screen such as Jessica Alba (pre-pregancy), Misca Barton, Teri Hatcher, etc. They rather go carb-less, binge and purge instead of actually exercising and lifting a few weights.

Too much weight to still be dressing like that is what I think the big fuss was to begin with. I think she's too old to be doing that as well, but that's a different issue.
And she does have a little bit of extra chub, nothing alarming though.
