all british people say that. i downloaded the uk version to check it out and i still prefer the us version. i'm american though.

ive seen both, the American version is a lot funnier to me.

theres a japanese website i go to to watch shows that i cant find hosted on american sites (Like DEXTER..AMAZZING SHOW ASLO).
But you have to put up with distracting closed captioning.

I'm not sure if they show it over here but I've always wanted to see the american version, I've kind of rinsed both series, too funny. Is anyone into curb your enthusiasm? Very simaler to our version and as hilarious.

Both versions are hilarious. I think a lot of people need to get over their snobbery regarding the supposed superiority of British comedy, they're both completely different cultures and comedic styles. Does anyone watch Black Books, The Mighty Boosh, The IT Crowd? They're vastly different to a show like 30 Rock.

That said, the only thing I can think of where the British version is inferior is Queer as Folk. Christ that sucked balls.
