I've just noticed the question.

Actually when I was pre-op, I would often use a panty liner.
It served two functions;

1. It combatted odors that may occur from tucking. A scented
panty liner would aid in maintaining a fresh and clean smell in
the genital area.

Any girl who has been tucked all day, and into the evening, knows
what I'm talking about. :oops:

2. It smoothed the area after tucking, it gave me a less lumpy
look down there.

Post-operatively, women who have had the sigmoid colon technique
of SRS, may wear a liner or a tampon, as their vaginas tend to
lubricate quite a bit.

Clearly I do not wear a tampon or panty liner for menstrual reasons,
but from time to time may wear one if my vagina is overly moist.
