to answer your question personally I've never dated a TS

my reason is as follows:
1. The TS' I've been interested in are not into men of my nationality (which is cool, I don't date certain nationalities my damn self)

2. Mood swings..............(I expect to get KILLED for this one but fuck it) I've been told that the TS life is not an easy one and I expect it isn't, which would make NOT EVERY but a few of the T's I've been interested in understandable in why they are NICE one day and FUCKED UP the next.............

I honestly don't know. Most of the ones I know are escorting or some other way involved in the sex biz and I know I couldn't settle down with one while she was doing that. Just a couple of points...

First off, the girls that most people know (Esp. on a board like this) are escorts or work in the sex industry in some way. That in itself brings up a lot of issues and problems that you wouldn't have to normally deal with in a regular mainstream TS (or GG) relationship.

If you were to meet a mainstream TS in the real world, she probably wouldn't have any more issues or mood swings than you or any other human being. Trust me on this one. I know a lot of girls in both worlds.

Regarding tranny chasers - most, if not all guys, hate being called a tranny chaser, but just as there are moody TS sex workers, there are many guys that fit the classic tranny chaser label. Especially when escorts are often judged so harshly (here sometimes, but more so on the review sites which nonetheless are an essential marketing tool for most working girls), it's understandable that some of that comes back on the guys who dish it. I try to avoid negative categorization myself--on both sides--but I'm sure some would call me a chaser. Interesting Topic. To begin with, I am married. However, with my wife’s consent, I do date outside of my marriage in order to satisfy requirements placed upon me by ADD and a hyperactive libido. There are definite rules – which I respect – but so long as she comes first, I am afforded complete freedom and privacy in my other dealings. Most of those I date outside of my marriage are close friends with whom I share some sort of intimate and enduring bond. To answer the question that spawned this thread, how much of a relationship takes place depends upon your definition of what constitutes a relationship. I am always up front about this; anything acquired through deception is never truly had.

As for some of the aforementioned issues mentioned concerning dating a TS (mood swings, diva complex, entourage, drama, etc.), these are only problems if you allow them to become problems. Not every TS brings this sort of baggage. Even if a TS you choose to spend time with does display some of these traits, it’s up to you as a man to deal with the problem. People will do what they think they can get away with. If a TS (or a GG for that matter) is being excessively moody toward you, displaying a diva complex when in your presence, behaving in a melodramatic fashion, or pushing her entourage upon you – it is because you are displaying the type of weak qualities that lead her to believe that such actions will be tolerated. Put simply, if you have your shit together, none of these things will be problems.
