The National Security Agency (NSA) is now routinely monitoring "transactional data," including wire transfers involving the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) network, as well as credit card transactions.

The sources claim that Spitzer was "outed" for his aggressiveness in attacking money launderers connected to Russian-Israeli organized crime syndicates and other Wall Street malfeasance.

@Nowhere......I agree. Just because one becomes rich, powerful, well connected or famous should not require one to give up his sex drive. Ubfortunately laws were broken.....especially the one called "Don't get caught."

As attorney general, Spitzer was the highest ranking law enforcement official in the State of New York. He used his rank as top cop to make his own judgement of people who often broke no laws other than his own pigeon-headed moral interpretation of right and wrong. He would hound his victims until they'd be forced to admit to lesser civil charges just to avoid criminal prosecution.

so if it's juvenile to get a bit of a kick out of seeing this guy go down, I stand accused

there are addtional data surfacing not confirmed of the Carlyle corp, larry Silverstein and the NY State pension fund. I don't understan exactly what but it seems the NY state pension fund was heavily invested in Carlyle who's in the process of bankruptcy. Larry Silverstein is somehow involved and Spitzer was going to investigate him next but someone pulled his plug.

If, as reported, Spitzer has been doing the escort thing for 10 years it's hard to conceive how he was able to keep it under wraps. It's not farfetched to believe it was known but the disclosure was held back for a time useful for someone's hidden agenda.

I would agree, except they are married. If they are soo unhappy with their sex lives, they need to either fix them or get a divorce. If they were single and did this, then it could be ponied up to just men being men lol
