Whatever happened to Shake-A-Puddin', Stingray bicycles, Polaroid Swinger cameras, Alden's Catalogs, milk deliveries, etc, etc, etc, ???

Things evolve, adapt, get replaced, et all, but I hope we never lose those Vonage commercials where people do stupid things. LOL!

You remember Shake-A-Puddin' ? Many don't.

For those out of the loop, it was a product (Betty Crocker?) of the late 60s/early70s which was basically a cup with a chocolate pudding powder which one could turn into a pudding anywhere by simply adding water and shaking. Needless to say, it flopped, as it was aimed at children with mothers who later would find that they didn't care for the laundry costs involved in cleaning the shirts of their youngsters. :)

does anyone remember Nabisco's Chocolate Snap cookies? they came in small boxes, you could eat the whole thing in one sitting with a container of milk.. they had a little bit of a coconut flavor and came in other flavors too. ginger and lemon, but chocolate was the best. The jerkoffs discontinued them cause they said there wasn't enough consumer demand.

Youngsters! Who here remembers milk home delivered in bottles with waxed paper caps which would allow the frozen cream to rise and not shatter the bottle of a bitter cold January morn? I do.

How about sodapop candy in paper straws?

Wax lips?

Candy cigarettes?

Walnettos?

Candy buttons?

LOL. You guys are a mess, but getting back to your original question I think all those 10-10 numbers weren't needed anymore because I think most people like me, use their cell phones to call long distance...

10-10-220 still exists and they have a website. Of course the website has some kind of weird name. It's really hard to remember, but I'll try.
