Just got done watching this flick starring Kevin Spacey. Has anyone else seen this? What are your thoughts on the way the TS and homosexuality was portrayed. The one thing that I have noticed both here on HA and in this movie is that personality overcomes prejudice. As I look at the people on this board I see a parallel that intrigues me. I guess there are those that are comfortable in themselves to the point of being able to use personality and even humor to make those uncomfortable with the lifestyle feel at ease. I thought the movie was fairly well done.

One of many things that I loved
about Midnight in the Garden of
Good and Evil, is that it had a real
transwoman starring in it.

The Lady Chablis:

I also enjoyed the premise and the
plot immensely, as I tend to with
just about any movie that Clint
Eastwood stars in or directs /
produces.

I loved that movie myself. But I wasn't particularly thrilled to see lady Chablis. She was a character yes but a little too caricaturish looking and sorta gay overacting in the movie (all her gestures are overly emphasized!).

But nevertheless, Hooray for the Transgender team! ;)

I had read the book, which was great. And that cause me to see the movie. But that was a long long time ago. It's non-fiction.
