I am sick and been sleeping for the past 2 days. I am up now, still sick but bored out of my mind. I HATE being sick I get stir crazy.

oh, hon, i so hear you right about now. this flu is THE worse. last friday i had a little scratch in my throat...saturday morning i felt like a truck hit me. i'm just coming off four of the most miserable days of my life - couldn't move, fever, headache, body aching. i was going totally stir crazy, as well. about two days in i made an "expedition" to the store that's two blocks away...that was the longest four blocks i've ever walked.

get well soon. and rest, rest, rest, rest...no matter how stir crazy you get. i hope you have someone there to help you!

this year i've been lucky... not got any flu... but this means also i haven't lost a single day of work :(
i only hope not to get it next week... i'll have to go to Milan for some days and i'll be fully covered by my company... so i won't lose some great time..

Julie and all you other poor souls who are sick, our hearts are with you. Especially having just gone through several days of pain and discomfort with my boob job I can totally relate.

Kids - if you don't know about NYQUIL it's the miracle drug. Take about 4X what they recommend and it will make a world of difference. If you are vomiting try to get Compazine suppositories - they will stop the nausea.

And lots of chicken soup. If you have a Trader Joes market nearby buy theirs it's 1/2 the sodium and full of good stuff and lots of actual chicken.

Get well soon. Infrared saunas are the best way to get rid of colds/infections, if you've access to one get your sweat on!

Thanks everyone for the get well wishes. Now I have a fever, I hate the chills. My dog is keeping my company and my sister stopped by to bring me some food. She lives right next door to me, at times like these its nice to have her right there. I been spending time shopping online, I am gonna give the UPS man a work out this week lol.
