Divas SF or other San Francisco hangouts?

I've been toying with the idea od going to Divas in SF (a friend told me about it) but the fact that it's billed soley as a strip club on weekends turns me off. I feel like it would be an escort only sort of get together. Does anyone have any experience of this place at during its specific events?

Before anyone flames me for not putting this in reviews, I didn't because I was hoping for a more open discussion of the San Francisco nightlife in general.

I know I really enjoy Ruby Skye but have never met a T-Lady there. I'm not mentioning any of my favorite drinking holes, just clubs. Anyone else have favorite spot? :D

i thought there seemed to be a wealth of NYC kids on this board, I see the other Divas threads but was hoping for a more inclusive view of SF nightlife, I guess the thread title was a little off!
