I think the best thing about winning is the night of the win. I didn't get to enjoy mine because the person I went with insisted we leave early and then decided to go back to her hotel room early. Still, there is a lot of initial euphoria involved. I was back in my room going to sleep at 10:30PM while the other award winners enjoyed the show and partied.

The reason I am glad for Allanah is because she will uphold the tradition of M2F transsexual icons being award winners - which wasn't the case last year.

She has been making porn (Internet and video) for many years now and I like to see girls like her being recognized and going down into the history for our genre.

I think girls like Jade, Yasmin, and Khloe - as well as many new girls like Jamie Page and Jessie will have many years of opportunities to take home the prize.

For all of the girls who didn't win, most of you deserve to feel good about yourself for the work you did over the year. I am hoping next year isn't a typical repeat of people nominating themselves and we see more of the new talent coming to the forefront.

Regardless, I am really proud of Allanah and very proud to be her friend. She is someone who really can be proud to have the last, and very appropriate, name Starr.
