Well I don't have any proof at the moment, but I'm so excited that I just wanted to share with everyone:

After a long year of self restraint and focused hair care, I've returned to my wicked ways and gone blonde again. It feels so good! Soon I will have photos for everyone.

I don't know if I will ever stay natural an entire year again.

I'm generally a brunette type of guy.
But blonde seems to really suite you. '
Fantastic look !

Seriously, I think there are some parts of my personality that only get expressed when I have blonde hair. I know that sounds crazy, but when I looked in the mirror and saw my blonde hair, it made the dark winter day seem a little less dreary than before.

Ok, so here are the first pictures taken of me with my new blonde hair, in 2008. Now just to warn you, the first was taken after a 3 mile hike, and I don't wear makeup when hiking (I try to take care of my skin that way...), plus it was freezing cold....The second was taken at home in our bedroom.

I hope you enjoy...

damn. are we still on for sxsw?

I'm seriously considering it. I would like to, very much. That Texas sun makes me so horny. Plus, I would be very happy to see all my friends, and go on motorcycle rides and swim.

You look lovely as ever, and the
scenery makes a great backdrop.
Makes me wish I wasn't such a city
kitty.

Now how do I work in a "does the
carpet match the drapes joke".

Well, there appears to be no carpet, just hard wood... >.<

Yay boobies in the woods!

I do agree with the eyebrows thing, you should lighten them too. They look weird against blonde hair.

Everybody's a critic huh? I will make sure to wear more makeup the next time I climb a mountain in the freezing cold, just in case....

Damn you are gorgeous. I say stay away from the make-up, I like the natural look. It is no mistake that I married a woman who doesn't shave her legs or wear make-up.

Where were you in the first pic? Was that near portland? I'm in Eugene but don't get away to the beautiful countryside nearly enough.

That was taken from a viewpoint on the Wygant trail in the Columbia River Gorge, in Oregon about 10 minutes west of Hood River. I highly recommend taking advantage of the public hiking trails, it really does wonders for ones sanity and health. That is right there, the reason why I live in the Pacific Northwest and not somewhere like San Fransisco or LA where I would make more money. I just can't imagine leaving the beauty of it all.

There is great hiking in the bay, but nothing like up here. I went on a very nice hike in the Oakland hills the day after Xmas, and it was so nice to see Madrones, which you just don't see north of the Siskiyous (save for Arboretums.), and so many plants flowering in December. How marvelous!

Even though all of my closest friends live in SF and Oakland, I could never live there. But I do visit the bay more than any other place (I've been 5 times since October.)
