What really pays the bills?

After reading the thread " Is there any money for male performers in transsexual films?" I was disheartened. I knew performers got a flat fee upfront but I didn't realize how much oversaturation diminished the market. So my question what really keeps you economically viable? I mean your obviously paying the bills so what's really your bread and butter? And do any of you have any lucrative side ventures?

Yes - we're going to open a Subway franchise and hire ex prostitutes and old porn stars to staff the place at minimum wage. So how do you like your salami?
