This one is for the girls please, unless some of you boys have had a boob job... giggle

I'm about to get my boobies done. What I'm wondering from those who have had implants is how long did it take you to recover?

1) Enough to get around locally

2) Enough to travel (fly)?

3) Enough to exercise again?

4) Did / do you have arm or lifting problems? If so for how long?

I'm asking because due to some (non-porn) business matters I've only got a small window of opportunity (like a week) to do my boobies and be sufficiently recovered to attend some meetings and deal with moving a housefull of stuff into storage. (Not physically, but overseeing it.)

Thanks, I appreciate any advice you ladies can offer.

Hugs,
TS Jamie :-)

I have had six pairs and I would say one-two weeks. Last time I had drains in for a week that made my life hell. But honestly never had any real pain even with the two breast lifts.

2) Enough to travel (fly)?
2 Weeks

3) Enough to exercise again?
No lifting NOTHING for a month. After surgery it's cruciial that you take it easy. Even everything is healed on the outside- thing shave to heal on the inside.

4) Did / do you have arm or lifting problems? If so for how long?
None

1 I was on a pain pump for 3 days, so it wasnt bad for me. In mornings waking up, it was a rough I needed help sitting up, I didnt need much pain meds after that, I didnt think the pain was that terrible for me. so I only took as needed and that was after waking up, since my body was stiff

2 I Flew home 14 days later.

3 I didnt excercise for for 3 months, I took it easy.

4 I was on a 8 week restrictiction no lifting and then 5 lbs. It takes a year or so for your inside to heal fully. I did feel nervous about using those muscels to use push or lift anything, but you get over that

If you are going where I went Jamie. You are sent home the next day, the ansthetic last for two days. They spend the whole night pumping it in your body (it made me puke) so if you can handle it maybe it will last longer. I walked home from the hospital, it wasn't far from where the recovery house was.

After the ansthetic stops you feel like Jen said like someone is on you and its hard to get up, but once you are up you are up. But you do want to relax a lot at least for two weeks so the swelling will go down. And keep that bra on they give you! So you don't get deformed boobies. Don't try lifting your arms up a lot either when you first get them.

Thanks ladies. I appreciate your information. I'm hoping that things go well, and I'm certainly going to take care to ensure things fit properly.

Yes Kelly I'm going to the same place - I'll PM you in a few days. Though I'm a wuss... so we're staying in a suite at the Hilton a few blocks away and I'm going to have a private duty nurse stay with us at least the first 24 hours.

Giggle,
TS Jamie :-)

Mine were fairly painful.

I would strongly advise against
strenuos activity.

Also remember to massage them.
