Just wondering people about your thoughts on this. You meet a partner, the smile says it all, and the sparkle in the eyes confirm it. Further down the line, you start hearing the history, but you don't want to believe it, then it suddenly dawns on you, oh shit!!! OK, enough of the drama, I know most cases don't end in a car crash like this, but do you know where I'm coming from? How important are looks to you? Is it a trick, or is there something going on behind the scenes???

Actually I am very confidant that i have a very great personality, which many have mistaken it for a weakness , because i am very sweet , social , and not shadey in other words, and not your typical snooty nose in the air type girl. Many people who act snooty or very "Shadey" are people who have a high case of insecurity, or are bitter from past experiances, and hide all of this behind a facade that their outter beauty tends to mask the truth of what they are ...........INSIDE.

Since my first post was too clear cut, I'll explain it a little more for you "little brains". :wink:


Good looks do not always mean a good personality. Some of the most beautiful people have some of the ugliest souls.

And... some peole that may not be blessed with great beauty may have some of the most beautiful souls.

I think, generally, if you were born with good looks, you learn that you can skate by more often in life. Studies have shown that people treat you better, you get better paying jobs, better looking partners, etc, and you don't have to work on developing your personality.

Those that were not born with great beauty had to learn to develope their personalites more and work harder to get to the same level as the good looking people.

Of course, there are exceptions. I'm lucky enough to be beautiful on both the outside AND inside!!! :wink:

personality also has a basis in genetics, or so some say, but i think its got alot more to do with how you grew up, how you were treated, what your living situation was etc etc.

so no, the best looking person in the world could also be the biggest asshole.
