Finish my book, and get it on the shelves.

Finish the script I am writing and hopefully have the opportunity to direct it too.

Win another couple of boxing matches.

Spend a bit less time here.

Spend even more time in the gym.

Score more goals at football.

I'm not greedy, if I can do all these things, I will be more than happy!

I have multiple resolutions, and am usually very good at carrying them out, but right now they are all secondary to the below pictured house. It's not the Taj Mahal, but it is 2300 Sq ft., and it sits on nearly an acre of waterfront property.

I put a bid in for it on Christmas Eve of all times. The current owner and I have been negotiating back and forth, but it's not going too well (Turks are very stubborn, even when they're holding a bad hand). I want this damn house. That, in effect, is my resolution because all my other plans in that neighborhood hinge upon my ownership of this house.

-Quinn

P.S. Sorry for using tiny broker website pics, but my own are huge and would screw up the page.

Very cool, DJ_Asia. Thanks. I'm curious, how are housing prices in Thailand right now? Is there a boom in any specific region comparable to what has been taking place in parts of Vietnam and parts of China, or have recent political developments hindered that sort of growth in the market?

Oh, and good luck on the 40 lbs. of lean muscle tissue (very ambitious indeed) and the house.

No,the housing market here is outrageous, regardless of the political nonsense it continues to explode.Of course some markets(BKK,Samui,Pattaya,Phuket) are more popular then others...Nang Khai is very close to the border of Laos so its not as pricey or desireable as locations sought out by the farang soi dogs.

Signed the contract this morning. Barring some unseemly discovery during the home inspection process, my New Year's resolution will be carried out by, or before, the 18th. Woohoo!

Here's hoping for a great 2008 for everyone. :D
