You want it to work but everytime they try to remake an 80's series its fails and therfore gets canceled,example:Kolchak the night stalker,it was so bad i think it didn't get past four epsiodes.

as an original night rider watcher I can't get into the Shelby replacing the now extinct (temporarily) firebird

and I'm smh @ Pontiac for not making a concept car that they could have built into the next firebird for this series, dumb move...............

personally I can only think of one car that could have been outside the Pontiac line and replaced the original KITT and sadly it's not American

NBC did a special a decade or so ago with the Pontiac banshee as the new KITT, you figure as many concept cars as they come up with in Cali annually, someone would have woke the fuck up and said to a design firm out there, build the next Kitt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you would have had firms competing with designs, and the car would have been phenominal because it would be a one off for the show that could use concepts to trickle down into an actual car...................

A Mustang for KITT, no fucking way. Even though the Pontiac Banshee is a 20 year old concept, it would still fit better than a fucking Mustang.

Or the new Trans Am/Firebird concept.
