Last week Channel 4 UK showed a good 76 minute programme about transsexuals called "The Middle Sex". The makers of the programme seem to be appreciative of people who are different, and show positive examples of transgendered people and societies which are more accepting of them.

I believe that participants of the HA board will also find it worth watching.

A description of the programme is at the Channel 4 site http://www.channel4.com/health/microsites/M/middle_sex/.

Screen captures are at http://spaces.msn.com/members/Gault69/.

And to watch it, you can download a bittorrent for the programme at http://www.uknova.com/details.php?id=11015. It's a very good quality recording, 676 MB, DivX5 format. You probably need to sign up at UKnova.com to download the torrent and use their tracker. (UKnova is free and won't send you spam, just like HA, and there is a lot of other good UK tv programming there.) Explanations on how to use bittorrent are beyond the scope of this posting...

Enjoy...
