It depends on the girl "Escort",, it could be for a multitude of reasons like: Bad reviews, Theft, Make more earnings, Probably had bad expieriance and wants to avoid from history repeating itself with the same person, Feels that she is no longer being sought for her services and wants to , try a different image ,persona. I think it depends on each individual situation. Some of the girls I know tell me that it has to do with tracking where calls come from, effectiveness of advertising, different name for different sites / venues and in some cases different donation levels, Eros vs. CL,vs local print media. Also, names used on eros for example and also on CL as opposed to postings only on CL. I have also been told it is sometimes nothing more than amusement and sometimes depending on photos where it is hard to tell and the same girl can look different between say Eros and cl or multiple different ads on CL.

Do you trust them?
Trust, respect, friendship is a two way street earned one individual at a time.

Does it matter?
Depends, when a girl posts say 3 ads on cl, each using different name, same pic and phone number I get the impression someone thinks the readers are too dumb to figure out what is going on.

Can't speak for the girls, but as a male escort, when I am escorting out of town, I use different names depending on where I advertised. For example, eros ads cost more and are a different cleintle, so the price is higher. Village Voice, is a different crowd, and you want as much business as you can while on the road to pay the bills, so you might take this type of business. If you do craigs list, you know that is a crap shoot, so a different name there, puts my guard up, and lets me know possible LE, or some other type of problem.
Also, while on the road it could be different fantasies. If I am a bottom escort, I might use one name, top another, versitle another, S&M or something like that another. It costs alot to fly, book hotels, etc, so you may do some things on the road that you might not do at home, so the name at least lets you know what the person wants and what to charge as soon as they call, and you can act accordingly.
