I've made a few using MTV's Music Generator for Playstation I. They actually came out pretty well. No I won't post any of the songs here!

Neat that you've brought this up. I've been composing stuff here on my PC for years. Nothing professional. Just me goofing around, making in-the-moment-mood-music in fruityloops.

Anyway, I don't use loops, so all my stuff sounds completely original and usually somehow off the wall.

It's all electronica, but I have some video game remixes in there, and some of my stuff almost sounds orchestrated. There's a little bit of everything for anyone.
Let me knows whats yooze thinks.

Really? I started out with MTV Music Generator. I threw a few songs together with the default loops until I figured out how to customize everything down to notes. I played with that for a while, until I got sick of the default samples and moved onto fruity loops. I still have some of my old MTV Music Generator stuff around if you wanna hear it.

I loved the keyboard solo. I'm a keyboard player myself. Plus it was great to see him manipulate the analog sound in real time. That's becoming a lost art because the compact styles of the newest digital keyboards.

I listened to three songs and thought they were all good. Good orchestration in the selections. My daughter uses the Frutiy Loops program a lot, but I prefer the Acid program, a well as other non loop based ones. I also do some lived based recording. Here is the link to a song I made for my meditation CD. There are no drums, just chords and a solo track.

the track is about 4 1/2 minutes. I did a little editing of my solo. And keep in mind that it is for quiet meditation rather than for other comercial type settings.

Yeah, I luv analog synths, although never used one, but the sound seems richer & more expressive than digital. My keyboard skills are pretty rudimentary, I understand scales, chords, major minor & all that stuff. A mate of mine had an old Roland JD800. I wouls spend hours just messing with it, with the filters, lfo etc. Some of the sounds were so spacey. Eventually he banned me from it, lol. Then I got an old Ensoniq esq1 off a car boot sale for £50 with those rom cards for additional sounds, you can spend hours just experimenting with this stuff. Now I use fl studio, and wire all the sounds into contollers. Pretty much into ambient house, easy to create stuff like this, soundscapes

I listened to seven songs. I like "Afghana" the best. I kept waiting to hear some lyrics in general, though. Being a keyboard player I like elontric stuff, some of my friends are onto more real instrumentation.
