Springsteen had so many great songs from his early albums in the mid 1970's, it is difficult to narrow down to one. My favorites are "Kitty's Back" and "Born to Run." He made this Jersey guy proud. I saw him at a small theater in 1975 for only $4.50. Definitely back in the day.

Springsteen and the E Street Band were friggin' great in those days and he was dating Patti Smith to boot.

Speaking of the latter,my favorite 70's song is the Patti Smith Group's cover of "Gloria".
