darling you must understand. hurt is part of the risk. the only thing you can control is the selection. choose carefully. and if you're like most what attracts you is probably wrong. come up with ways to make them show their true colors up front.

sorry that you've been hurt. something tells me he wasn't worth it. if he was then treasure it, pain can become a touchstone of what to avoid. best to you sweetheart. and by the way, I'm very sappy when it comes to romance.
