I have a question:

Is it possible to apply some sort of browsing filter on some user accounts here?

I've tried for 3 years to use adblock on issues like that, no luck, it would make life ALOT easier on any forum

Well fwiw I don't think I'll be starting any more flame wars anytime soon. 99.98 % of internet fights don't hold my interest that long.

I remember LG I think it was-- one of the Sassenachs I'm sure anyway-- posting a neat little Killfile applet that worked with older versions of Firefox. Unfortunately that version does not work with the current Firefox but possibly the developers have updated it.

There should be an Ignore button addition to this type of forum. I've also seen it elsewhere. If this site is of this particular type, check out this site: http://www.phpbb.com

Hannibal, my man..

Further to my last I did a bit of digging tonight, and I have the answer for you

First, get Firefox latest.

Then install the Greasemonkey plug-in and restart Firefox

Then get the Mondo Pita User Script from here

http://www.devoresoftware.com/gm/mp/

and install it. In Firefox go to tools>Greasemoney>Manage User Scripts, Highlight Mondo Pita and add the site url, in this case http://www.hungangels.com/* (remember to add the asterisk/wildcard.

Go to the board and into a thread, and in the bottom R of the page you will see a box saying "Mondo Pita Options." Click delete-filter, add the POS you want to gub's handle into the author box, et voila, mon ami, c'est fait. Banished into the outer darkness.

This should work for any php bb 2+ based board, but if it doesn't, sorry. And if you don't like Firefox.....Too bad. And if you're using IE.....YOU'RE USING IE???????

Hohohohoho what jolly fun.

why should this application be added? this forum in particular is notorious for giving false information- an ignore button would just add to the ruse.

worse, it's an excuse to be ignorant from supposedly open minded folk. i love the double standards here.

It's a September 07 script, they seem to be up to speed with updates. You might need to update Greasemonkey.
